Here is what we did in July, 2005!

Sunday, July 10 - PYO Tour "Farewell" concert at Skyline!
Wed, July 13 - Depart for France from SFO on 2 flights 80 of us on Delta, and 50 on KLM

Thurs, July 14 - Arrive at Nice, France

Welcome dinner will was served this evening in Old Nice.
At 9:30, we were treated to Bastille Day Fireworks!

Fri, July 15 - Museum Tours
Museum tours in Nice, followed by a visit to St. Paul de Vence and the wonderful contemporary art museum, the Maeght Foundation. Afternoon departure for Aix-en-Provence.
Fri, July 15 - Aix -en-Provence
Arrive in Aix-en-Provence, check in to the hotel. Rehearsal at the hotel (Finally, we get to play music!), followed by dinner as a group.
Saturday, July 16 - Tour of Aix-en-Provence
Full day visit of Aix-en-Provence including the open market in the morning, a historic walking tour, and lunch on our own.
Saturday, July 16 - Concert in Aix-en-Provence
Rehearsal in the mid-afternoon. Dinner before the 9:00 PM Concert in the lovely Eglise de St. Madeline in Aix-en-Provence.
Sunday, July 17 - Cassis
Early morning departure for the coast, destination - the fishing village of Cassis. We caught a boat to the beautiful Calanque, France's version of a Fjord, and had a great voyage.
Sunday, July 17 - Haute Provence, Concert in Forcalquier
Rehearsal, dinner, and Concert in the Cathedral of Forcalquier, a village in the heart of the Rue de la Lavande.
Monday, July 18 - travel to Valencia
Departure for Valencia this morning with a stop in beautiful Montpellier for lunch. Late evening arrival in Valencia, dinner served.

Tuesday - July 19 - Tour of Valencia
Historic Walking tour of Historic Valencia in the morning.

Tuesday - July 19 Concert in Beneguacil
Historic walking tour of Valencia in the morning. Late afternoon departure for Benaguacil- Rehearsal, Concert, and late dinner.

Wednesday, July 20 - More time in Valencia
A second opportunity to visit Valencia, and visit Valencia's famous beaches! Then back to the dorms for a late lunch and a rest before departing for Cullera.
Wednesday, July 20 - Concert in Cullera
Rehearsal, dinner, and Concert in Cullera.
Thursday, July 21 - Valencia, Peñíscola
Time this morning to catch up on some sleep! Shopping in Valencia, or time at the beach. Lunch, and then off to the beautiful seaside village of Peñíscola. Time on your own to visit the medieval city and spend some time on the beach. Rehearsal, concert, and box dinner.
Friday, July 22 - Barcelona
Departure for Barcelona! We arrived in time for lunch on our own before our first walking tour of the city. We visited the Ramblas, the Gottica district, and Parc Guell during this tour. Late afternoon check-in to our hotel. After dinner, we had a visit of Barcelona by night.
Saturday, July 23 - Barcelona
Full day dedicated to one of the most interesting cities in Spain! We visited some of the fabulous architecture of Antonio Gaudi, including La Pedrera, and the outside of the Sagrada Familia, his final masterpiece.
Saturday, July 23 - Farewell Dinner
Including food, skits, speeches, and pictures!
Sunday, July 24 - Home again - time to catch up on sleep!
This time the folks on the KLM flight had to get up early.
